One of his strengths is his ability to explain in everyday language your financial issues and the impact of certain decisions on your business.

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and as Trustee on a number of Boards he's extremely focused on providing business owners and organisations with the vital information needed to make smart decisions, identify opportunities and build platforms for success.

He helps his clients articulate their vision and gives them all the tools to chart their ambitious plans and track their ongoing success.  He wants to accelerate their progress by getting out and doing the business with sound knowledge and processes rather getting bogged down in the mundane.

Having owned several businesses himself and helped clients turnaround their businesses when they get stuck, he knows the common issues where businesses stagnate and sometimes fail.

Having having spent the past 15 years in senior positions with large accounting and legal firms both here and in the United States, Gerard finds being an integral part of his client’s strategic thinking the most rewarding role of his career using technology to free up his client’s time so they can focus on being successful and having the time to actually enjoy that success. 

Annalise Thomassen CA Consultant

Annalise is committed to her clients and is passionate about developing strategies that provide for her clients to spend more time working on their business than in their business.

A Chartered Accountant, with significant experience in mid-tier accounting firms specialising in audit and insolvency, and working in mid to large NZ businesses and not for profits, she specialises in working with helping entrepreneurs to succeed in business as much as they do in their family life. 

In her spare time Annalise is often found with her friends and her family as well as punishing herself at RPM and the competition at indoor netball.
